Take Some Pills Dammit by linawifeofL Take Some Pills Dammit by linawifeofL
That's right. I used the c word. It's the only word appropriate for this type of behaviour.

Seriously, I have been yelled and bitched at for doing NOTHING (literally NOTHING AT ALL), been attacked by people I don't even know, blamed for things I didn't do, and PHYSICALLY HARMED by girls before. And what is there excuse? "BITCH I'M ON MY PERIOD".

Fuck that shit. Yeah when I'm on my period I might get moody sometimes, but I'm not a fucking five year old which means I have the self-control NOT to violently take my moodiness out on everyone else and use my lady week as an excuse. If I'm going to be a bitch I don't use my monthlies as an excuse, and if I DO end up being snippy with someone because of my hormones I don't excuse it, I apologise like a fucking grown up.

EDIT: Censored it so I wouldn't have to add a mature tag.

It's really annoying when people try to play the "I'm PMSing" Card. Apparently society has digressed so much that it's normal for guys to joke about women being on their period because they're in a bad mood. Personally, I just cry a whole lot, but it usually isn't that bad because I know that it's just the hormones.

Now to that degree...I agree is very, very ridiculous.

I try to control myself as best I can on my periods. If I yell at someone, I automatically apologize.

And there is no reason other people should have to suffer because you're bleeding out your yin-yang and your hormones are f*cked up.

Also, I thought it said "cock" before I read your reply to *ethereal-crow. Oh, silly me. :iconhurrhurrplz:

These people really, really, really, don't help with the stereotype that anyone on her period is insane/incompetant.
Also, they probably are being jerks on purpose if they're fully aware of how they're acting.

STOP IT, JUST STOP.

Maybe I'm just stupid ("maybe"?), but I'm actually not sure what the censored C word is. Mind telling me?

Anyway, I've always found it strange that girls act like their period is as much of a crutch as a disability. The fuck? You idiots-- it's a natural process in which blood is discharged out of your crotch for a few days, not "OMFG I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FRAK I WANT COS I'M ON MY PERIOD AND AM NO LONGER BOUND BY RESPONSIBILITY NOR COMMON FUCKING SENSE111112"
Hormones never have and never will be a legitimate excuse for anything. It's like girls want to be treated like stupid animals/objects.

Even though I'm biologically female, myself, I still don't get it. Yes, I do have a period, yes, it's painful-- in fact, it often causes violent fits of vomiting and guarantees diarrhea-- but do I use it as an excuse for anything? ...No. Except maybe, "I'm not feeling up to going to <wherever> today, busy puking my guts out. How about tomorrow?"
I never get moody, though. Maybe my body traded emotional affects for physical ones.
