I CANNOT STOP WITH THE RELIGION STAMPS ASDFGHJKL

But yeah. If your religion teaches you that your god(s) is/are the only god(s), I honestly do not mind. That's what you have been taught by your religion and I'm all right with that. What I DO have a problem with is if you put down others who do not share your beliefs with "Your religion is a religion of heretics", "Your beliefs are lies", "You are going to Hell for not believing in my God(s)", and the like. That's just not acceptable behaviour. It is condescending, it says "My opinion holds more weight than yours because I say so. I am better than you and my opinions are better than yours because I say so." The fact of the matter is religious beliefs are not facts, they are opinions, and yours are no more correct or incorrect than anyone else's, so to act like they are is a use of circular logic ("My beliefs say they are right so they are right because they say that they are") and makes you appear immature and pushy when it comes to people not agreeing with you. You are entitled to your opinion as everyone else is to theirs, so give respect and you will receive respect from anyone who is reasonable. If someone does not reciprocate on your respect, that is their problem.

And the way I see it, religion works for some, but not for others. It wasn't working for me because I wasn't following a religion out of loving it, I followed it out of fear. If I want to be religious, I'll do it because I genuinely believe in something, not because I'm scared.

Almost every single one of my friends are in a different religion than I am, and I respect their beliefs and they respect mine. We talk about our religious beliefs at lunch and discuss what our religion teaches, but we don't disrespect each other's beliefs. If we did, we wouldn't be friends. Yes, I want them to convert, but I don't yell or threaten them, that would destroy the point of our friendship. My family is tolerant and have raised me to respect others for their beliefs, the first step to converting someone is respecting what they believe.
This stamp is a win.

One of my friends, who I love dearly, thinks that you HAVE to be christian to be happy, and that only atheists ever feel sad or kill themselves.
She knows very well that I am an Atheist and that I am happy. It took everything in me not to laugh in her face.
Instead I said "You think so?"

Thanks for making this stamp. I absolutely agree with you. To me, it's perfectly fine if others' believes differ from mine, as long as they don't try to convert me. I don't know many people who share my belief, does this make me hate them? No. Why would it? I don't get it, honestly, I don't get it.

Haha my friend and I were just talking about this too. XD
We have 2 completely different beliefs (I'm Christian and she doesn't believe in God~)and we still respect each other's beliefs.

I hate seeing bashing both ways.
I see more bashing on those who have religions than those who don't though..

Great stamp but the comments posted here are some of the most retarded things I've ever read. It'd be nice if people kept their religion to themselves and not flaunt it as much as they can...

...No matter how many times it is expressed, or how, it should really be stated every day, anywhere and as many times as possible. Cheers! :D

I agree with this :)
Lately my problem is seeing a bunch of people who are so completely disrespectful to the people who actually believe in a religion, and so around to try and badmouth the religions because they don't believe in religion at all ;o
It's one thing to say I don't believe in it, and they try to tell people that their beliefs don't matter and that they're suddenly stupid fro their faith <__<
But then they turn around and pretend that people of those religions are the badguys trying to force their opinion down their throat.
It's completely okay for them to say your religion is crap, but when you try and share your own beliefs (even in a completely unforceful way) there's a problem ;o

It goes both ways pretty much~
