I see women being praised for "using their femininity as a weapon" or "being a powerful woman" for bouncing around in a string bikini and putting out to get what they want. How is that being powerful? How is that empowering for women? It's saying "Guys want to put their penis in me so I can make them do what I want, rather than do something actually empowering like using my intellect or some other actual skill rather than what my momma gave me". It says "A woman has to be attractive to make men do what she wants because appearance is the only thing of value that women have". And above all, it says "A woman has to be manipulative to be strong because there's no point in her trying to be intellectual or anything" and "Men are drooling oafs who will sell out an entire nation for tits" so that theory is really offensive to both parties involved. It says women are only sex objects and men are perverts who care about nothing but sex.
This is not to put down women who actively enjoy sex or are just happy to express their sexuality and proud of their bodies, of course. Woman's sexuality all the way across the sky, baby, I support it. This Stamp is just about the myth of "Boobs=strong woman".
So much for being "empowering" to all women. Its like saying all a womans talent and purpose is fucking everyone.
My sympathies to the women who actually seek to be strong, but may never be taken seriously because of what was described here.
