Such a surge of gay pride lately o3o
But yeah, it's true. No offence to anyone who wears burkhas as part of their religion, of course. But both cases apply the same principle: "We'll accept you as what you are as long as you don't do anything that shows that you are what you are".
Template (c) Ketgirl1992EDIT:
I thought this was OBVIOUS, but if one is a black woman who happens to be Muslim and so wears a burkha, this does not apply to that situation.EDIT 2:
HOKAY it seems that some clarification is needed. This stamp is NOT directed towards homosexuals who justify their homosexuality with celibacy, though you may interpret it that way if you wish. It's directed at the homophobic heterosexuals who say "Oh, being a homosexual is AWWIGHT, just don't have sex or act overly-gay or DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT UNCOMFORTABLY REMINDS US OF WHO YOU ARE
But we're saying that it's okay so you can't call us homophobic even though we're essentially saying everything that MAKES you gay is wrong DURHUR".
