People seem to think that because I have an opinion I have to care about everyone else's.

I do not. Nor do I expect the rest of the world to care about mine.

You can have an opinion that I do not share because that is everybody's right and I do not care if you agree with me or not, but if you try to share your opinion, especially in a rude, condescending, or otherwise fucktarded manner, I do not guarantee that I will respond or even read the entire thing. Because freedom of speech does not mean that I have to give a shit about something that I have already decided that I do not agree with and hearing that opinion that I already do not agree with will not make me change my mind about what stances I take.

Objectivity and subjectivity are confusing concepts to people because there isn't really a definition that can't be challenged, especially when pertaining to our own free-will and judgement. I haven't found much reason to believe that opinions cannot be deemed superior or inferior based upon quality. You can base the quality of the input you're receiving on a multitude of factors, such as: your relationship with such person you're receiving it from, your belief in the validity of that person's opinion, your pre-existing knowledge of the subject, your willingness to take in or block out input, and to whatever extent, whether you agree with what you're interpreting.

Siding with an extreme and not being open-minded on the subject matter can be detrimental in many aspects, so I tend to dissuade from such a mindset. You can benefit from taking in as much as you can, as long as you know how to process and utilize it efficiently. I'm not telling you what you are or what you're doing, I'm just kinda putting that out there as a somewhat thorough analysis on the subject. You can make your own decision, by all means.
